‘ I cant recommend highly enough,
I took my battered heirloom painting in to see if anything could be done, Katy took me through framing options and suggested showing it to their restorer. He was able to tackle the damage, and advise on its history.
Katy kept me informed at every stage and agreed costs, and gave plenty of assurance that it would be looked after! The framed result is stunning and will ensure the painting will last for future generations. I am really grateful, pleased, relieved and chuffed to bits, Thank you.’

We had been in contact with Katy for quite some time and had been following the very informative Gallery website. After making the long trip down from Anglesey, we were so impressed by this lovely Gallery in a pretty coastal village which itself is worth a visit. The gallery has a variety of beautiful paintings, focusing on Welsh artists. The friendliness and informative guidance of Katy and Huw led us to purchase a beautiful painting from an artist we admired and we are now very fortunate to own one of his pieces. It was worth the long trip and we will return!

Katy was extra helpful. She sent me lots of images by artists that I like. She arranged for my painting to be courier delivered to me, at no extra cost. The painting arrived on the agreed day, very carefully packaged and in perfect condition. I will definitely be buying more beautiful artwork from Harbour Lights Gallery.

The painting has arrived safe and sound. We would like to say thank you for the excellent service you and your gallery gave us and please pass on our thanks to the Artist – I’m looking at the painting right now and it just makes me smile.

“Harbour Lights, a gallery that is a destination at the end of a journey or detour worth making on a navigation of Pembrokeshire. Porthgain itself might draw you off the A487 ‘between Fishguard and St.Davids’ but appreciating that there is work by nationally regarded names and those of Wales itself, the draw should be irresistible. If galleries present work as a sommelier builds a cellar there are fine wines here and also those maturing nicely, paintings prints and sculpture cleverly chosen to satisfy the taste of the decorative buyer along with a slew of work to simulate the collector’s intellect and palate. Not working through exhibitions, the breadth of the collection is nevertheless imaginative and constantly changes; not all the work is on the good website, which is refreshed most days, so go and pay a visit.”

” My partner and I visit Pembrokeshire a couple of times a year and always visit your gallery. We have always been struck by the warmth and expertise of the gallery staff. Whatever else we do with our holiday, a visit to your gallery is a must, for this reason.Yours is a fine gallery, which has always featured work of a high standard, and the quality of service and attention has always matched this. “

“I am truly delighted with my Jan Gregson picture and it has been much admired over the Christmas period. It gives us enjoyment every day and will do forever, it reminds of us of a place where we enjoy fun holidays in the great outdoors and beautiful landscape of Pembrokeshire. The energy, wildness and stormy nature of the scene is wonderful and transports us straight back to the coastline. Our visits to the Harbour Lights Gallery between me seeing the painting and subsequently us deciding to purchase it were very enjoyable and informative and with my first visit Katy, you were brilliant! You left me to it as I browsed around looking at everything and then a few things rather more and then very subtly got chatting and offering to move one of the paintings where I could see it more easily. I had a very enjoyable hour in the gallery waiting for Steve and now I have something we will enjoy forever. Not only that, your father arranged to meet me midway between Pembrokeshire and our home to deliver it when it would not fit in our car on returning home from holiday!”
“My wife and I look forward to our annual visit to Harbour Lights. It is the best small gallery we know. What is on show is invariably of very high quality and sensitively displayed. But the highlight of the visit is always the chance to talk to Katy. She knows a huge amount about the works on display and the artists and is always very willing to spend time with visitors, a chat with her is a delight whether or not she thinks you might buy. Because Katy is the only staff member sometimes there is a wait but with so much lovely stuff to look at that is no imposition. We would unreservedly recommend a visit and, if you do decide to buy, you will never regret it. Incidentally, on our last visit Katy had a large collection of John Knapp Fishers – nobody quite catches Pembokeshire as he did.”
